SPECIAL COVID-19 UPDATE
October 17, 2020
Minnesota State Fairgrounds
It’s no secret that virtually everyone in the book world is affected by the pandemic. Bookstores, publishers, authors, and literary organizations are all scrambling to make ends meet and figure out backup plans to reach and serve their communities. Rain Taxi holds these noble objectives in mind as we make plans for our 20th Annual Twin Cities Book Festival.
We are sincerely hoping that our celebration will see readers coming back together at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds—but we aren’t unrealistic. Given the unknowns, we're planning for all different contingencies, with a focus on safety for exhibitors, presenters, and attendees. Whether this year’s Book Festival looks similar to years past (but with social distancing measures added) or has new and different platforms, we're committed to creating a way to connect and support the literary community.
Over 19 Years of Celebrating Books & Book People
Rain Taxi’s Twin Cities Book Festival is the annual gathering for readers, writers, publishers, and purveyors of all things literary. The one-day TCBF features dozens of presenting authors, special children’s programs, and nearly 150 exhibitors featuring new and rare books, quirky literary curiosities, and more.
Plan your day at the Festival and see what's happening all day: author activities, readings, talks, signings. Fun for all ages!
