What Haunts Us
$15.59 (Moonfire Publishing), Speculative fiction
It is a pleasure to offer Festival folk four works:
• What Haunts Us, winner of the 2020 Midwest Book Award for “sci-Fi / Fantasy / Horror / Paranormal” fiction. This is a collection of unusual ghost stories just in time the coming dark nights including collected testimonies and speculative literature, ending with the HBO / Netflix worthy romance of an Inquiry into the Life of the Count Saint Germaine.
• “Vote Coyote” a limited-edition chapbook of political poetry skewering all parties in the campaign season. Priced at $20 with $5 going to Minnesota’s Get-Out-the-Vote effort.
• And a Festival special: The New Book of Plots and Point of View and the Emotional Arc of Stories as a pair which sums up 26 years of teaching narrative structure for $20. The first is about how we get from beginning to end and the second considers who tells the story.
• Vote Coyote a limited-edition chapbook of political poetry skewering all parties in the campaign season. Priced at $20 with $5 going to Minnesota’s Get-Out-the-Vote effort.
