Fur Lab with Anne Brataas

Kids from 3 to 12 are invited to join award-winning author Anne Brataas for a fun, free, make-and-take activity! Using the powers of invention and empathy, you’ll felt sheep fleece by hand into small “rug mug” coasters as you explore and design lovable animal characters to take home with you.
Anne Brataas is an award-winning author of nature essays and newspaper reporting. She holds a Master’s degrees in Zoology and Environmental Science, has been a science teacher with the Minnesota Institute for Talented Youth for nearly 20 years, and is founder of The Story Laboratory and Minnesota Children’s Press. Anne lives in Grand Marais, Minnesota.
